Saturday 9th April: 12-4pm - the dark art of applique
Master the art of applique and reverse applique, Learn embroidery stitches and techniques, considering design elements whilst creating samples suitable for a cushion or bag.
Wednesday 20th April: 12-1.30pm - Adult and Children's Ready Eggy BROOCH workshop
When the holidays seem to be endless, why not join amy aardvark and friends to learn new skills and create something special together?
Ideal for adults and children, “Ready Eggy, Brooch!” is an opportunity for you to work as a team to create the most beautiful Easter badges…ever.
You will be provided with everything you need to create your very own Easter-inspired badge, why not don your creative hat and then decorate it with your own design?

Saturday 14th May: 12-4pm - Exciting hand embroidery!
We will create samplers, practising different stitches whilst considering design elements (colours, scale, placement...) to produce interesting, textural textiles.
Saturday 11th June: 12-4pm - Creative cushion making
Learn how to make an envelope backed cushion using fabric of your choice or fabric samples created in one of our embroidery or applique workshops. Cushions are great for showcasing your needlework and relaxing with on an evening.
Saturday 9th July: 12-4pm - Excellent Hand embroidery (intermediate)
Build on skills learnt previously to create your own samplers, suitable for your own textile project, or to incorporate into your home via one of our future product-making sessions.
Date tbc: make your own fabric for a lampshade!
Design and produce fabric using stencilling and appliqué techniques to be made into lampshades. (Lampshade traditionally hand-rolled and outsourced.Sign up here
